Julie loves life.
That life includes Jesus, her husband of 23+years, and three children plus one who joined them just a few years ago. Her love for the Virginia Tech Hokies, and the cattle, chickens, and dogs on her farm keep life busy and fun.
Julie believes that people can learn way more from her struggles than her strengths as God shines His light through her broken places. She writes from her heart, one that has been healed and restored. Healed from regret and shame. Restored to hope and grace.
If she could spend the day with you, she’d invite you to her back porch, pour you a glass of sweet tea, and invite you to sit barefoot in a rocking chair beside her pond-wet black lab overlooking the rolling hills of the farm.
She enjoys helping everyone feel at ease in knowing that life can be tough, we all struggle, but we all have hope in Jesus–the lover of our souls.
Come sit for a while.
